14 More Сountries Excluded From 14-Days Self Isolation List In Belarus

The Healthcare Ministry has excluded 14 states from the list outlining a 14-day self-quarantine measures for persons entering Belarus from countries with actively circulating COVID-19.

Among them are Australia, Egypt, Israel, Georgia, Canada, the Netherlands, Great Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Singapore, the USA, Turkey and Japan. Recall that on 25 March, Belarus instituted a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine for persons entering the country from countries where the COVID-19 is actively circulating. On 11 June, the list of the countries has been amended.

Earlier people coming to Belarus from Austria, Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Germany, Denmark , Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia and China were exempt from staying isolated for two weeks.


Mind that those coming to Belarus from Russia still need to observe 14-day quarantine. Recall that Belarus and Russia signed the agreement on mutual recognition of visas between the two countries, it means that foreign visitors with a Belarusian visa will be able to freely enter Russia and, vice versa, holders of Russian visas will be allowed to enter Belarus (by air, rail and car).
