Minister of Culture: Belarusfilm may become Hollywood's ground

"I received a letter with the offer from the United States yesterday…"

Barys Svyatlou has been interviewed by STV. He was asked whether rich people were ready to invest into the Belarusian film production.

"There are few Belarusian sponsors, although there are some. And we are receiving offers from abroad…" STV quoted the Minister. "I received a letter from the United States yesterday. They suggested turning Belarusfilm into one of Hollywood’s main Eastern European grounds."

He is ready to accept the offer, Barys Svyatlou said.
