Tougher than Van Damme: epic split in Belarusian style

Belsat

Yauhen Yakush, a resident of Hrodna, has done a split without using any elecronics or protection. Moreover, Jean Claude Van Damme is sure not to even imagine performing a trick which would involve … a Zaporozhets, the compact car designed and built from 1958 at the ZAZ factory in Soviet Ukraine.

‘The cars failed to move uniformly, they were vibrating and separating. A smooth start is hardly possible for these cars,’ autogrodno.by, an organiser of the filming, reports.

Mr Yakush has definitely overtopped the Belgian film star: unlike the Belarusian, when featuring in the Volvo commercial film Van Damme did have his legs protected. Furthermore, it was raining while the Belarusian cover was being made and at any moment Mr Yakush was close to slipping off wet metal surface of the Soviet car industry legend and falling down.
